For your new patient visit, the time that you will be in our office is averaged to 2-2.5 hours. Prior to your visit, you will be filling our medical history forms. We request that you download, complete the forms and return to us via email or fax.  Please try to send these to us before your appointment if possible. We also have registration forms that we would like for you to complete prior to your visit. If you wait until you arrive in the office, it will delay your visit.

We will go over the forms carefully with you when you come in. You may be asked to participate in a lung function test (a Spirometry) and a tympanogram (ear function) test while you are here. You will also have a thorough consultation and physical exam with Dr. Wallace. This is where all your questions should be answered.

If Dr. Wallace feels it is necessary, you may also have allergy testing on your first visit. Because of the possible testing, we ask that you do not take any medications with an antihistamine one week prior to your first appointment in order for the testing to be accurate. For a list of medications that you must avoid until your appointment, please visit our downloadable forms page.

Once you become an established patient, it is important to make regular appointments (about once every 2-3 months) to measure your progress. Allergies and Asthma are conditions that need to be closely monitored.
